Emilio Stainless, based in Manila, Philippines, specializes in crafting and supplying top-notch AWS Class E347‑16 electrodes designed specifically for welding stabilized austenitic stainless steel. With a strong focus on process control and quality assurance, Emilio Stainless guarantees that its E347‑16 electrodes provide reliable arc performance, impressive corrosion resistance, and overall dependability. Catering to fabrication shops, petrochemical facilities, power generation sectors, and other vital industries throughout the Philippines, Emilio Stainless has earned a solid reputation for delivering welding consumables that not only meet international standards but also address local and regional stainless steel welding requirements.
The E347‑16 electrodes are formulated with a blend of chromium, nickel, and columbium (niobium), typically containing around 18–21% Cr, 9–11% Ni, and Nb stabilized to about eight times the carbon content (up to ~1%) to effectively combat intergranular corrosion. The all-weld metal from E347‑16 boasts a minimum tensile strength of approximately 75,000 psi (≈ 515 MPa) and an elongation of at least 30%, along with excellent impact resistance at room temperature. The electrode’s coating, usually a rutile-cellulose or calcium-titanium type, ensures a smooth arc, easy slag removal, and good weldability in all positions, whether using AC or DC+ currents.

These electrodes offer exceptional corrosion resistance, particularly against intergranular corrosion. Typically available in diameters of 1/16″ to 1/8″ (1.6 mm to 3.2 mm), they provide a lighter coating, facilitating easier welding with smooth, clean welds and minimal spatter.
Known for high corrosion resistance, especially in harsh environments, these electrodes come in diameters of 1/8″ to 5/32″ (3.2 mm to 4.0 mm). The heavy coating enhances arc stability and provides a thicker slag layer, offering better protection and ease of removal for cleaner welds.
These electrodes deliver superior corrosion resistance and are ideal for high-temperature applications. Typically available in diameters of 3/32″ to 1/8″ (2.4 mm to 3.2 mm), they are designed for shielded arc welding, ensuring stable arcs and good weld integrity in challenging conditions.
We guarantee complete transparency and top-notch quality assurance for our AWS Class E347-16 Electrodes. All orders are accompanied by necessary documents such as a commercial invoice, packing list, fumigation certificate, heat treatment chart, and an NABL-approved lab test report. We also provide a Material Test Certificate as per EN 10204/3.1b, PMI Test Certificate, 100% radiography test report, and Third-Party Inspection Certificate. Our documentation is very well arranged to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
These E347‑16 electrodes are perfect for welding stabilized stainless steels like AISI 321 and 347, as well as for joining 304/304L in situations where intergranular corrosion resistance is essential. Common applications include chemical process equipment, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, piping in corrosive or high-temperature settings, and structures that require long-term stability. Emilio Stainless proudly offers E347‑16 electrodes throughout Manila and across the Philippines.
