Stainless Steel 309H Tubing contains 23–25% chromium, 12–15% nickel, and 0.08–0.25% carbon, along with trace amounts of manganese, silicon, and phosphorus. This austenitic stainless steel exhibits tensile strength of 620–760 MPa, yield strength around 275 MPa, and excellent toughness and ductility. The higher carbon content enhances mechanical strength at elevated temperatures while maintaining corrosion and oxidation resistance. 309H Tubing is dimensionally stable, heat-resistant, and capable of handling high-pressure and high-temperature applications, making it suitable for demanding industrial, chemical, and structural systems.
