SS 13-8 PH Sheets and Plates are mainly made up of iron, containing 12–14% chromium, 7–8% nickel, 2–3% copper, and 0.05–0.15% carbon, along with trace amounts of titanium and aluminum. This precipitation-hardening stainless steel showcases high tensile strength (up to 1,400 MPa) and yield strength (around 1,100 MPa) after heat treatment, along with good elongation (about 10–12%). The material boasts excellent corrosion resistance in atmospheric, marine, and mildly acidic environments while maintaining toughness and dimensional stability even under extreme mechanical and thermal conditions.
