Stainless Steel 317L Sheets and Plates are low-carbon, molybdenum-bearing austenitic alloys primarily made up of iron, chromium (18–20%), nickel (11–15%), and molybdenum (3–4%). The lower carbon content improves weldability and reduces carbide precipitation.
