Stainless Steel 304/304L Sheets and Plates are composed of 18–20% chromium, 8–10.5% nickel, and a maximum of 0.08% carbon for 304 and 0.03% for 304L, along with small amounts of manganese, silicon, and phosphorus. These austenitic stainless steels showcase a tensile strength ranging from 485–620 MPa and a yield strength of about 170–310 MPa, along with excellent ductility and toughness.
